The National Literacy Trust is an independent charity that transforms lives  through literacy by supporting those who struggle with literacy and the people who work with them. To find out how you can support us please see our Support us section.

With your help the National Literacy Trust can:

• Provide disadvantaged children with free books, opening up a new world of reading
• Help parents to support their children’s literacy and language skills
• Help disadvantaged teenagers to improve their communication skills in preparation for working life
• Support families and adults with community projects that develop reading and writing skills
